My only one daughter decided to go to high school in Boston. That was when she was 14 years old, prior to her graduation from junior high school. We did not trust the agency to apply for studying abroad. Therefore, we personally went to the United States to visit the high school, met with host family, and researched the surrounding transportation, residential environment, insurance and other necessities of life, before we had made the decision.

When having studied abroad, our priority was our daughter’s safety concern. In addition, we also concerned how to reduce the education expenses and graduate from the school/University in a shortest possible time. Eventually, our daughter graduated from UCLA, Los Angeles. Accumulating about 8 years of studying abroad experience, we learned our valuable lesson and experience, we also hope that we could share what we have learned with those who aiming to study abroad.

During the time that my husband was assigned to be based in Silicon Valley (U.S. West Coast) by U.S. large IT Corporation, we voluntarily participated in many multi-national multi-ethnic environment activities. Through these activities with people from different cultures and background, we mutually exchanged our experience and learned to understand the difference in cultures and thinking among us. We also learned to respect our difference and help each other when needed. Moreover, we also made a lot of local friends and still maintain good relations. I feel really fortunate to meet and get to know these people. These experiences are priceless treasure!

Hello everyone!

Our company and the translation partners recently completed the translation of a foreign video subtitle (English, Chinese, and Japanese).

The most important aspect of translating subtitles in a movie clip is, before starting the translation, to understand the story background in-depth and the character's mood, use the local language as well as product’s knowledge. Certainly, we have to match the timing with time in the video in original language, these are relatively time-consuming.

We deeply feel that to raise the high standard of the translation work, the ability of the multilingual staff is very important. All translation and interpretation staffs of our company are proficient in a minimum three languages.
